EDFL: Joyce shines for Keilor

DYLAN Joyce showed his quality to lead Keilor to an all-the-way 28-point win over Essendon Doutta Stars in the EDFL premier division at Keilor Recreation Reserve on Saturday.

Joyce, a best and fairest winner with the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup, booted four goals to help the Blues record back-to-back wins.

Jimmy Messis, Chris Raftopoulos and Jamie Papalia were also important for the Blues, while target man Jarrod Garth booted three goals to take his season tally to 37.

In division 1, Taylors Lakes slaughtered Keilor Park in the local derby by 170 points on the road at Keilor Park Reserve.

Lachlan Calder had a day out for the Lions with nine goals.
