Lakeside Live festival site and date changed

A NEW location, date and name are part of a revamp of Melton Council’s Lakeside Live festival.

The event has been held along Lake Street and in CS Square for the past four years.

But the council says the event has become so successful it has outgrown the current site and will be moved to Town Centre Recreation Reserve to improve crowd safety and comfort, and reduce road closures.

The next festival will be held on February 23, instead of in January, to ensure residents are back from their Christmas break.

Residents are being urged to provide feedback on the changes and suggest new names for the annual festival.

Details: 97477200.
