Caroline Springs students urged to get sweating and swotting

Caroline Springs students are being urged to be more active for the sake of their health and the environment.

Years 7-10 Catholic Regional College students like Amy and Josh (pictured) took part in cycling, walking and running activities as part of an ‘active transport day’ on March 28.

They also played basketball, netball and dodgeball and attended a road safety session run by police.

Physical education teacher Joanne Constantino says students enjoyed spending a day doing fun activities.

“Normally we just do a ride-to-school day but we wanted to promote a healthy lifestyle with this all-day event..”
