VBL women: Keilor Thunder falls short

A MISSED free throw from Katherine Black with four seconds on the clock has cost Keilor Thunder the chance to take the Geelong Cats into overtime in the Victorian Basketball League Big V women’s division 1 on Saturday night.

The Thunder is 1-2 after three rounds but playing admirably after moving up a division this season.

The Thunder’s undefeated men’s division 2 team came back from 11 points down at the start of the fourth period to stun the Western Port Steelers on a three-pointer from Matthew Lynch just six seconds from time and win 75-74.
