A HILLSIDE woman is due to be charged with drink driving offences after blowing 0.343 following a crash in Caroline Springs on Thursday afternoon.
Police believe the 38-year-old woman was driving along Hume Avenue with her seven-year-old son, when the Holden sedan veered off the road and struck three parked vehicles about 4.20pm.
The woman is believed to have just picked her son up from school.
Melton Highway Patrol police breath-tested the woman at the scene and took her to Caroline Springs police station where she returned a reading of 0.343 per cent.
Police immediately suspended her drivers’ licence and she is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving, careless driving, driving in a manner dangerous and driving under the influence.
