STAFF at a Sydenham physiotherapy clinic donned colourful wigs and put their cooking skills to the test to raise more than $1000 for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave on March 16.
Back in Motion Health Group staff (pictured) brought plates of food to share with patients and sold cupcakes.
Practice director Anthony Belcher says many of the clinic’s clients have suffered from leukaemia and other forms of cancer.
“We’ve definitely been touched by leukaemia over the years so we thought it was a good idea to support this cause.”
The World’s Greatest Shave helps the foundation provide free practical and emotional support to people with blood cancer and their families, and to invest millions in research.
