SUNSHINE firefighters are urging residents to change smoke alarm batteries when changing clocks at the end of daylight saving on Sunday.
MFB commander John Rampling says it can take less than three minutes for a spark to become a life-threatening fire.
“Ensuring you have working smoke alarms and practising your home escape plan are important ways to protect your family from fire dangers.”
