Drug pair remanded

POLICE seized 140 cannabis plants during a raid in Derrimut on March 8, arresting a 23-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman.

Brimbank detectives executed a search warrant on a property in Leighton Green about 7.30am.

They seized 140 cannabis plants from five rooms.

Tuan Qui Dong and Hung Bui, both on student visas, were charged with drug-related offences and remanded in custody to face court at a future date.
