SUNSHINE Eagles have suffered a shock exit from the 2012 Baseball Victoria summer league division 2 finals.
The top-ranked Eagles were beaten in three games in the semi-finals by surprise packet Bonbeach Bluejays at the weekend.
The Eagles will still be promoted to division 1 next season after finishing the regular season on top of the standings but will not go up as champions.
