SUNSHINE Business Association president Bruce White and Thuan An restaurant’s Leanne Tran (pictured) want to know just who has the ‘fastest pho’ in the west.
Five restaurants will vie for the coveted title as part of Saturday’s Brimbank Festival, with waiters from some of Sunshine’s best Vietnamese restaurants to race along Hampshire Road.
Competitors will be judged according to speed and spillage, with judges measuring how much pho (a fragrant Vietnamese noodle soup) is slopped along the way.
Vying for the coveted title are firm foodie favourites Phu Vinh, Pho Lau Kim Long, Nhi Nuong, Thuan An and Sao Cafe. The race kicks off at 2.45pm.
