BRIMBANK Youth Services will host a special Harmony Day youth event and film screening next Wednesday night.
The March 21 event will include games, face-painting and a sausage sizzle.
From 5pm there will be a free screening of Falling for Sahara, a film shot at the Flemington housing commission flats.
A question and answer session with the film’s actors will take place after the screening.
The film is about three Africans who share a tight bond and a love of footy. But with the arrival of Sahara, who is smart, beautiful and AFL-mad, the three friends suddenly find themselves competing for the same girl.
Director Khoa Do co-wrote Falling for Sahara with his cast of African-Australian actors. Activities are from 4-7.30pm at Errington Community Centre, Princess Street, St Albans.
