Police will submit a report to the coroner.

House fire at Ardeer

A family was forced to flee their home after fire extensively damaged the Rockbank Road property at Ardeer on May 31. MFB firefighters arrived at the scene to find thick, black smoke billowing from the house. Due to asbestos being present, firefighters wore breathing equipment and a warning was issued about a smoke cloud. No one was harmed and the MFB is investigating the fire’s cause.
