Clayton South: Teenager charged with woman’s murder

A teenager has been charged with the murder of a woman whose body was found in a car in Clayton South.

Paramedics were called to a car park near Keeley Reserve about 3.30pm on Wednesday to treat a woman who had been assaulted.

They found the woman unconscious in a car.

She could not be revived.

An 18-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested a short time later in Dandenong.

He was charged with one count of murder and was due to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Police have not yet released details of the woman’s age, or her name.

However, it is understood she knew the teenager.
