A four-goal final quarter was enough to secure Deer Park a win after trailing against Werribee Districts in the Western Region Football League on Saturday.
A battle between two of division 1’s strongest clubs lived up to its hype with the lead changing throughout the afternoon.
Trailing by two points at three-quarter time, the Lions called on all their fighting stamina, restricting the Tigers to just three goals in the final term to secure a 11.6 (72) – 10.8 (68) win.
Scott Greenhough was outstanding for Deer Park, being judged its best player.
