A 45-year-old St Albans man has been arrested and charged following a raid at a St Albans property on Tuesday.
Maribyrnong Crime Investigation detectives allegedly seized drugs, drug equipment, cash, five firearms and ammunition after executing a search warrant at a Jacinta Way property about 10.15am.
Van Hei Nguyen was charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of drug of dependence and was remanded in custody. He will face the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court again on Wednesday.
A 42-year-old St Albans woman was also arrested at the scene but was later released, pending further inquiries.
