Three lanes are closed inbound on the West Gate Bridge following a truck fire which had earlier closed the bridge.
A Metropolitan Fire Brigade spokesman said the fire appeared to have been in the cabin of the B-double truck and was extinguished about 7.45am.
The Age reports that heavy haulage is being organised to remove the truck. It appears the driver was able to get out of the truck when it caught on fire.
