Linger longer at Brimbank libraries as opening hours extended

Brimbank bookworms, such as siblings Lexi, Liev and Liam, will have more time to indulge their love of reading from next Monday, thanks to extended library opening hours.

Brimbank council will keep the St Albans library open until 8pm on Thursdays and will open all five libraries – at St Albans, Deer Park, Sunshine, Sydenham and Keilor Village – at 9.30am on Tuesdays.

The libraries previously opened at 1pm on Tuesdays. The new hours extend opening hours by 29 hours per week across all Brimbank libraries, bringing the total number of opening hours across all branches to 278.
