Brimbank’s house sales are on the rise again and there’s more interest than ever in its estates that are newly on the market.
The Real Estate Institute of Victoria’s latest results show Brimbank suburbs recorded the largest median price growth over the past year. Topping the suburbs were Keilor at 24.8 per cent followed by Sunshine with 16.5 per cent and Cairnlea.
With buyer inquiries on the rise and stock levels low, properties have been selling fast since the end of last year.
Dennis Family Corporation spokesperson Chris West said recent land sales had been extremely strong at the Modeina estate in Burnside, particularly since the arrival of the estate’s first residents just before Christmas.
“As the newest neighbour to Caroline Springs, Modeina has been attracting many local buyers,” he said. “Completion of further homes earlier this year has added to Modeina’s young and growing community.”
Work has started on Burnside Children’s and Community Centre in the estate, and the centre is due to open at the start of 2016.
As well as three and four-year-old kinder, it will provide occasional care, maternal and child health, early childhood intervention services, parenting groups and playgroups.
Modeina’s ‘Wow sale’ is on now with a select range of blocks at the new residential estate in Burnside available until sold out.
The sales office is at 114-124 Rockbank Middle Road, Burnside, or call 1300 724 723.
