UPDATE: A man has been found dead on the footpath in Melbourne’s CBD.
Early reports say the person fell out of the window of a Collins Street building.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene at 8.05am.
Police have confirmed the man’s death but said the death was not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
Route 48 trams are diverting both directions due to the incident in Collins Street.
Roads are also closed eastbound at Russell Street.
Passersby were shocked by the grim scene in Melbourne’s business district.
