Taylors Hill: 29 cannabis plants removed from house near primary school

The State Drug Task Force raided a vacant “grow” house in Taylors Hill on Wednesday afternoon, and removed 29 cannabis plants.

Detectives executed a warrant at about midday, and removed the immature plants, as well as lights and heaters, from the Cooks Way property, which backs onto Taylors Hill Primary School.

Police spokesman and Leading Senior Constable Paul Turner said the unoccupied premises appeared to be a house used to grow drugs.

“Currently we have no one in custody, and the investigation is ongoing,” Constable Turner said.
