Wanted: war memorabilia to put on display.
The Caroline Springs RSL is calling on veterans or the families of servicemen and women to donate or loan their war memorabilia for a display at the RSL’s headquarters at The Club in Caroline Springs.
President Peter Burquest said the RSL was keen to display photos, medals and other memorabilia from world wars I and II, the Vietnam war, as well as those from recent conflicts in East Timor, Afghanistan and Iraq.
“We don’t have a great deal at the moment,” Mr Burquest said.
“We want to fill our display cabinets and want to know who from the region has been in the services.”
