Police are seeking a man who was involved in an aggravate burglary in Sunshine West last year.
Armed crime squad detectives have released an image of the man they want to speak to. They say he carried a firearm when he broke into a North View Drive factory in the early hours of October 8.
The man confronted a female employee at the factory and fired the gun towards her, injuring her arm.
Police arrived to find him holding the woman.
He kept her close as he edged towards a yellow or orange motorbike that was parked at the front of the factory.
He then released the woman and sped off on the motorbike towards Somerville Road.
Police opted to treat the victim instead of giving chase.
They say the offender was of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build and about 175 centimetres tall. He was wearing a blue hooded jumper, blue pants and a motorcycle helmet.
Send information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
