Robert Doody and his Deer Park teammates continued their dominant run through the Bowls Victoria Metropolitan Pennant competition on Saturday.
The Parkers easily accounted for Mitcham, 14-84 to 4-69. The win maintains Deer Park’s unbeaten start to the 2014-15 season, keeping it on top of the division 1 ladder with a perfect 7-0 record.
Although the season has not reached its halfway point, it appears only exceptional bowling will knock Park off top spot.
The Parkers are three games clear of their nearest rival – the same Mitcham they dispensed of at the weekend.
The winning run doesn’t look like stopping any time soon with the Parkers set to take on bottom-of-the-table Ferntree Gully this week.
