Armed robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged armed robbery in Truganina, which occurred about 8.25pm on October 25. Two men walking along Cheviot Drive were allegedly approached by three male offenders, one of whom produced an unknown object and held it to the victim’s neck. The men were forced to walk to a nearby park, where the offenders made threats and demanded their phones and bank cards before fleeing the scene. Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000.

Police car rammed

Four people were arrested after a police car was repeatedly rammed at Pacific Werribee on October 31. As officers approached the vehicle, the driver allegedly reversed into a stationary police car a number of times before speeding out of the shopping centre carpark. The car was located a short time later in Altona Meadows and four people were charged with various offences.

Charges over parking thefts

A 48 year-old Point Cook man was among three people arrested on November 1, following a two-month operation into the theft of parking machine money across metropolitan Melbourne.
