Caroline Springs: Academy offers chance to get fighting fit

A new one-stop martial arts centre has opened at Caroline Springs.

The Global Martial Arts and Fitness Academy is offering a range of martial arts classes – including in hapkido, taekwondo, kung fu nunchakus, qigong and haidong gumdo swords – for youngsters and adults under the one roof.

Hapkido instructor Brendon Markos, who has more than 20 years of martial arts experience and has represented Australia in hapkido internationally, said it was great to see different styles of martial arts work alongside one another.

“Usually, the martial arts compete against each other,” he said. The centre is on Federation Way.
