There was plenty of action in the opening round of the Athletics Victoria Shield season on Saturday.
Teams from across the metropolitan region descended on the Victoria University sporting complex in Hoppers Crossing.
It was a great start to the season for David Abfalter and his Keilor St Bernards teammates.
Keilor St Bernards is on top of the ladder in the under-14, under-16, under-18 and 40-plus women’s age groups. The club is also on top in the under-18 men’s division.
