POINT COOK: Chickens and duck decapitated at school

Children at a Point Cook school are in shock after chickens and a duck they were looking after were decapitated.

Staff and students at Carranballac College’s Jamieson Way campus found the animals on October 2.

It is believed they were killed on October 1.

Police believe unknown offenders entered an enclosure at the school about 9pm and decapitated the animals.

It is the second time animals at the school have been attacked, with bandits targeting the chickens and ducks last year.

Police are investigating.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000.

Police have released this CCTV image of two people they wish to speak to about the animal cruelty.
