A traffic light pole was thankfully the only injured party, when a Nissan Navara t-boned a van on Keilor Park Drive in Keilor East on October 1.
Police say the 41-year-old Cranbourne driver ran a red light at about 2.40pm, near to the Western Ring Road entrance, slamming into the van.
“The van rolled on to its side, and took out a traffic light,” said Brimbank Highway Patrol Senior Constable Ken Zeffert.
“It caused a minor traffic disruption, but police were really amazed there was no injuries.”
The vehicles had already been moved when the Star Weekly arrived at the scene just 20 minutes later.
The driver of the Navara has been issued with a penalty notice.
