It’s the exhibition that’s putting students in touch with their artistry and altruism.
Students at St Albans Secondary College are creating pieces for Brimbank Central Rotary Club’s One Day Art Spectacular, to be held next month. The club has called on students across all year levels to paint pictures based on the theme ‘What Rotary means to me’. Brimbank Central Rotary member and originator of the project, Nonie Gionfriddo, says the club wants to teach students about the work that Rotary does and hopefully inspire some to become future Rotarians. Ms Gionfriddo joined Brimbank president Nilda Escalante at the college last week to check on the students’ progress. The One Day Art Spectacular will be on show on Friday, October 10, from 5.30pm in the St Albans Secondary College science building, 289 Main Road East, St Albans.
