St Albans traders, residents wage fight against litter

St Albans is getting a spring clean. Traders and residents are being encouraged to throw on some gloves to clean up the streets this Saturday from 11am to 2pm then enjoy a free barbecue.

The litter-removing event is a joint venture of St Albans Safety Working Group, Victoria Police and the St Albans Business Association. Participants will meet at the Alfrieda Street roundabout opposite St Albans library.

Gloves and rubbish bags will be supplied. Call St Albans Connect on 9249 4122 for more details.
