Police will fit anti-theft screws to car number plates during a community safety day at Bunnings Caroline Springs from 10am to 2pm this Saturday.
Police will also engrave bikes and scooters, while a Melton council safety officer will check children’s car seats and restraints.
Celebrity gardener Vasili will be on hand to offer spring gardening tips, while kids can enjoy free popcorn, fairy floss, a jumping castle, animal petting farm and face-painting. Phone 8358 0300.
