What do you get when you team up Elvis, the full moon and a teen wolf-in-the-making?
Lakeview Senior College in Caroline Springs answers that question this week when it debuts its first major production, Wolfstock.
The musical is inspired by 1980s flick Teen Wolf and follows a boy who is told he will become a wolf on the first full moon after his 16th birthday.
Students in years 10 to 12 have been rehearsing since the end of last year. “It’s set in the 1950s, and there’s quite a bit of comedy in there and a bit of an Elvis focus,” Lakeview teacher Caroline Willie said.
Wolfstock premiered on Tuesday in the Lakeview Auditorium on Caroline Springs Boulevard, with the final performance on Thursday.
