ROXBURGH PARK: Shot fired after roadside fight

Police are searching for witnesses to a car shooting in Roxburgh Park that followed a confrontation between two drivers on Monday night.

A shot was fired at a blue four-wheel-drive shortly after the vehicle’s 20-year-old driver had an altercation with another car on Somerton Road, police say.

The shot was fired about 7pm after the 20-year-old had turned into McPherson Road.

Police believe the occupants of the second vehicle had fired the shot, causing a tyre to deflate, before fleeing the scene.

They want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
