Deer Park: More young men arrested over Michael Sleiman’s death

Homicide detectives are questioning another two men over the death of Michael Sleiman who was found fatally wounded after his Deer Park home was allegedly stormed on Australia Day.

A 23-year-old Caroline Springs man and a 29-year-old Hillside man were arrested on Wednesday night, police say.

The arrests come after four young men have already faced court charged with murder over the death of Mr Sleiman, 20, at a Deer Park home.

Benjamin Borg, 19, and Adam Power and Jamie Fisher, both 23, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday each charged with one count of murder.

The three men and Matthew Delamothe, 22, are accused of murdering Mr Sleiman during an alleged home invasion involving as many as 15 people.

Mr Borg, of Deer Park, and Mr Power and Mr Fisher, both of Caroline Springs, were held in custody to face court again on November 20.

Mr Delamothe, also of Deer Park appeared in court last week and is scheduled to return on the same day as his alleged co-offenders.

A fifth man, 24, was arrested on Monday but was later released without charge.
