ISIS Primary Care-accredited dietician Lucy Tartaro will guide parents through creative lunchbox ideas, healthy eating and good nutrition at a seminar this week. It’s at Sunshine library, 301 Hampshire Road, from 11am-noon on Wednesday.

Tax time help

Brimbank council is holding a seminar to help its residents understand financial statements, prepare accurate budgets and learn about other finance-related issues. The seminar will be at the Keilor council offices, 704B Old Calder Highway, Keilor, on August 6 from 6pm. Tickets are $20.

Do you play the saxophone, trumpet or drums? The Western Region Concert Band is looking for percussion, brass and sax players. The band meets Saturdays, 9am, at Errington Community Centre, Princess Street, St Albans.
