TRUGANINA: Drive-by shooting targets house

Police are hunting a gunman involved in a drive-by shooting in Truganina in the early hours on Wednesday.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Creina O’Grady said several gunshots were fired into a home on Vanderbilt Drive about 3.20am, while people inside were asleep.

Although no one was injured during the shooting, Ambulance Victoria spokesman Paul Bentley said a woman in her 40s was assessed at the scene. She was not taken to hospital.

One bullet was shot through the front window, while another hit the garage door, radio staton 3AW reports.
