Marian College year 12 students Roxanne, Kayla and Sam have the music in them.
The trio were among a score of students to celebrate the college’s end of term two with a series of concerts and performances at the all-girls school.
The VCE music performance students and junior students each held their own concert, while the music and drama program students showed off their talents in two separate performances.
Marian College has rock bands across all year levels, a concert band, a string ensemble, a drama group, and gospel, contemporary and classical chamber choirs.
Music teacher Mari Eleanor said it was a great chance for students to explore their musical and performance abilities.
“What’s the use of having lessons if you don’t play for anyone?” she said. “It also allows the girls to appreciate and share each other’s work.”
