Meet some of Brimbank’s newest playgroup leaders.
Annie Xu and Alicia Kellett were among 18 local parents who graduated last Wednesday from a Brimbank culturally and linguistically diverse playgroup leaders’ training course and will now go on to help little ones get active in the community.
The parents represent eight different cultural groups and for many this will be their first leadership role in the community.
The course covers learning through play, good behaviour at playgroup, early literacy, healthy eating and first aid.
