A disqualified driver from Deer Park has lost his Porsche 911 turbo for 30 days after he was detected speeding in Sunshine North on Tuesday afternoon.
A Brimbank Highway Patrol officer detected the Porsche allegedly travelling at 132kp/h in a 100kp/h zone on the Western Ring Road just after 1.30pm.
The 33-year-old was allegedly found to be a repeat disqualified driver.
Police said a quantity of drugs, believed to be amphetamines, was also allegedly located in the vehicle.
The man was arrested and will be charged on summons with possession of amphetamines, driving while disqualified and exceeding the speed limit.
The Porsche has been impounded for 30 days.
