Police have charged two men following a series of armed robberies including one at a Kealba service station on December 6.
Essendon’s Sam Wathen was charged with nine counts of armed robbery and the 22-year-old was remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on August 13.
Airport West’s Michael Calleja was charged with four counts of armed robbery. The 24-year-old will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on June 6.
The men were arrested by detectives on May 21 and 22.
