Epping: Man killed, one injured in shooting

A man has been killed in a shooting in Epping.

Police were called to a house in Plowman Court, Epping, after shots were fired about 11pm on Saturday.

A neighbour reportedly attempted to revive the man while waiting for ambulance officers to arrive at the scene.

Nurse Debbie Tuckerman told the ABC she went to the house after six shots rang out.

A second man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening leg injuries.

Police believe a number of offenders may have fled on foot after the shooting.
