TAC Cup: Western Jets win fourth in a row

The Western Jets have continued to charge up the TAC Cup ladder by nailing their fourth win in a row on Saturday.

The Jets proved far too good for the Bendigo Pioneers in a 66-point, 14.10 (94) to 4.4 (28) win.

The Jets’ victory was set up in a blistering second term in which they kicked five goals to Bendigo’s one.

Liam Duggan continued his great start to the TAC Cup season with another best-on-ground performance for the Jets. Up forward, Mitchell Norton was the club’s leading goalscorer with four.

The weekend’s victory improves the Jets’ record to 4-3 this season and puts the club in fourth spot on the ladder. The Jets’ next match is against Northern Knights on Sunday, May 25, at Preston City Oval.
