Police have arrested a Caroline Springs man and a Keilor Downs man over firearms offences as part of a crime operation in the Stonnington region.
Detectives from the Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit intercepted the men in a vehicle in Warrigul Road about 11pm on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old Caroline Springs man was charged with firearm offences. He will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
The 29-year-old Keilor Downs man is expected to be charged on summons for firearm offences.
The men men were arrested following an operation targeting recidivist offenders after a crime spree in the Stonnington region.
