Cairnlea and Keilor Park have landed their first wins for the season in Men’s State League 1 north-west.
After drawing with Sunbury United the previous week, Cairnlea made the early running against Westgate to score twice in the first half. Westgate reduced the margin to 2-1 at the 59th minute before Cairnlea scored a third to wrap up a 3-1 win.
Keilor Park led 3-1 at half-time against Altona Magic and went on to win 4-2. Elsewhere, Sydenham Park and Western Suburbs played out a 2-2 draw.
