Sunshine West roots and reggae artist Ras Jahknow will launch his first album next month.
Featuring a full band, Jahknow’s latest work, sung in English and Creole, is the culmination of his reggae calling, which began in Senegal and has taken him to Portugal, the Canary Islands, London and Cuba. Jah Sta Li embodies his vision of unity, respect and peace.
Jahknow will launch the album with a live show on May 25 at the Bar of Bengal in Kindred Studios, Yarraville. Show starts at 5pm.
