A woman’s body has been found in two pieces in the car park of a Melbourne hotel.
The woman was discovered by a cleaner at the Bayview On The Park Hotel on Queens Road about 5am on Thursday.
Manager Mathew D’Rozario said the cleaner found the bottom half of the woman’s body in the hotel’s ground-floor car park.
The woman’s upper body was then discovered on the first-floor car park.
The cleaner notified hotel management, and police were called to the scene just after 6.30am.
“When I saw it I just couldn’t say anything, I am still shaking and most of the staff are shaken up,” Mr D’Rozario said.
“I have never seen anything like that … When you see this picture you just think ‘oh my god’.”
Mr D’Rozario said the woman appeared to be between 25 and 30 years old and of Asian appearance.
Police have cordoned off the area and are investigating the death.
A spokeswoman for Victoria Police said the death did not appear to be suspicious.
