A teen singer with more than 14 years of on-stage experience is among the talented performers competing for $1000 in this year’s Stars of the West talent quest.
Deer Park’s Madeliene Axiak, 19, has an impressive music pedigree.
A music performance student at the Australian College of the Arts, she has been performing since she was five.
Axiak says she’s entering the 15-and-over section of the Brimbank Rotary event to support the club following its encouragement over the years.
And it’s another chance to hone her skills.
“It’s a great way to get to know others from the Brimbank community who share a passion for performing,” she says.
Heats will be held in the Starlight Room at the Taylors Lakes Hotel on February 18, 20, 25 and 27, with the grand final on March 15 from 7pm.
