Two men are on the run after leading police on a high-speed chase and ploughing through boom gates at Melbourne Airport in an allegedly stolen car.
Police officers and the air wing are searching the airport and nearby areas for the pair, who jumped out of the car after it crashed through the boom gates at a multi-level car park.
They were last seen running into the airport and remain at large, police say.
The dramatic chase unfolded shortly before 10am in Broadmeadows when police began pursuing a Nissan Pulsar.
Police say the chase continued onto the Tullamarine Freeway.
There were four men in the car at the time.
The driver was arrested at Chesterville Court in Roxborough Park, and another passenger was caught near Gowrie railway station.
They are being questioned by detectives.
Police are continuing to hunt for the other two men.
