TYPHOON HAIYAN: Keilor Downs woman found safe

A Keilor Downs woman feared missing following Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines has reportedly been found.

“She’s OK,” her father Werner Reimann told Fairfax Media.

“She sent a text message today. She’s fine, because she’s in El Nido.”

Ms Reimann’s family had been concerned after not hearing from the traveller for three days.

“She texted us before the typhoon hit and there was just a lot of rain in the area where she was,” Mr Reimann said.

More to come.
