Keilor dropped to eighth in Bowls Victoria’s division 2 section 2 of Saturday Pennant after an 85-65 loss to Glenroy on Saturday.
The pair traded places on the ladder after Glenroy grabbed an early lead and maintained it throughout the afternoon.
Colin Richmond was the only Keilor skipper to win, 21-20, while Joe Watkins (23-17), Harry Kujala (28-11) and Terry O’Brien (18-16) were all beaten.
Michael Isergin, playing in Richmond’s rink, said Keilor’s 1-4 start to the season could still be turned around.
“Glenroy took the lead early and led by about 20 shots all day,” he said. “We’re a bit disappointed, we thought we’d have a better start than this, but it’s only early in the season so we’ll keep plugging away and fight and, hopefully, move up a few spots.”
Deer Park is unbeaten in division 1 section 1 after a 104-68 win over MCC.
Division 2 section 1 saw Sunshine City jump two places on the ladder with a 75-67 win over Williamstown.
Sunshine RSL got its first win of the Division 3 Section 1 season, beating Laverton 99-69. But Sunshine VRI lost 82-62 to Footscray Park.
In Division 4 Section 1, St Albans lost 82-72 against Hoppers Crossing.
